This is a page for our referee friends from Orange County Soccer Referees Assocaition (OCSRA website) and South Coast Referee Association (SCRA website).

Thank you for your service. We appreciate the part you play in helping us to maintain a gold standard in discipline while helping our players and clubs by keeping them safe. Keep up the good work.

Matches are played rain or shine on our two artificial fields (CVP-Lower and LNSSP). For information regarding CVP-Upper, our grass field, on rainy days please check our website around 6am Sunday morning, it will be updated regarding play or, no play. As always, you are free to suspend play or not play a match at all due to extraordinary circumstances. Please review and abide by the following policies and procedures regarding play. Please conduct a thorough check in of the players. NO ID, NO PLAY, NO EXCEPTIONS – In very rare instances there are registration issues that may require the LNFA to issue a waiver to a player who has completed registration (singed electronic legal agreements) but could not print an ID. This waiver will be on LNFA Letterhead. Please return it with the Game Cards either electronically or by mail to the address provided at the bottom of the Game Card.

Game Card Instructions (Match Reports):

Players who are present must sign the Game Card. Please cross off all others. (Don't forget to properly check in players arriving late!)

Please verify and/or add in Game (Match) detail information such as date, time, field and clubs.

All Game Cards and Incident Reports must be scanned and emailed to Freddy.

All red card incidents (including double yellows) and injuries where players are helped from the field (the match is stopped) should have an official USSF Incident Report completed and emailed to freddy@lagunaniguelfa.com within 24 hours of the incident. If you do not have a computer then please put a paper report in with the Game Cards when you mail them in.

Home Clubs will provide corner flags and match balls. All clubs must provide the referee with 3 FIFA Inspected or FIFA Approved match balls prior to kick off. Please note on the game card if clubs do not have flags or the proper match balls.

Club Managers will greet referees 15 mins before kick-off with the following:

An introduction of themselves and any other manager on the club.

Match Fee - $73 for three man system, $59 for two man system

LNFA Game Card (Match Report) • Please note any issues regarding corner flags, match balls, IDs, uniform irregularities etc on the Game Card and/or email me at freddy@lagunaniguelfa.com. These comments will help us to maintain our quality standards.

LNFA Law Differences from FIFA’s Laws of the Game Rosters/Game Card

Rosters may have up to 7 under 30 players listed. Goal Keepers are exempt from age restrictions. o Goal Keepers who do not count against a clubs under 30 allotment, may not play on the field. • Players ages are determined by their birthday and not by any cut off or registration date. • Under 30 players should be highlighted on Game Cards and should wear identifying arm bands.

Substitutions

Only the club with ball possession can substitute. • Substitutions are reciprocal and unlimited. • No substitutions are permitted on free kicks of any kind unless the refs stops play for injury, then both clubs can substitute.

Yellow Card Rule

Players who receive a Yellow Card must sit out 5 mins and may be substituted. • Goal Keepers are exempt from this rule. o In the case a Goal Keeper receives a yellow card, another player on the field must exit in his place to serve his punishment. This player may be substituted.
